The Studio

Where are you based? +
We are based in a private garden studio in Hawkinge, Kent. The exact address is shared with you once your appointment is confirmed — we keep it private to maintain the calm, exclusive atmosphere of the studio.
What does a private studio mean? +
All sessions are completely 1:1 — just you and your artist. There are no other clients, no waiting room, and no distractions. The studio is designed to be a calm, comfortable space where you can relax throughout your appointment.
Can I bring someone with me? +
Due to the private nature of the studio, we ask that clients attend alone unless prior arrangement has been made. Please get in touch if this is something you'd like to discuss.

Bookings & Deposits

How do I book an appointment? +
Simply fill out the enquiry form on our website with your idea, placement, and any inspiration. We'll be in touch within 48 hours to discuss your design and arrange a consultation.
Is a deposit required? +
Yes — a non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from the total cost of your tattoo on the day. The deposit amount will be confirmed when we discuss your booking.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? +
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours notice and we'll do our best to find you a new date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the booking fee.
How much does a tattoo cost? +
Pricing depends on the size, complexity, and placement of your design. We provide a quote during the consultation process once we've discussed your idea in detail. Please get in touch to discuss your specific design.

The Tattoo

What is a fine line tattoo? +
Fine line tattooing uses very thin, delicate lines to create intricate, detailed designs. The result is a soft, elegant aesthetic that's quite different from traditional tattooing. It's perfect for florals, script, botanical designs, and minimalist artwork.
Does it hurt? +
All tattoos involve some level of discomfort, but fine line work tends to be less intense than traditional tattooing as it's generally quicker and uses lighter pressure. Pain varies depending on placement — bony areas and ribs tend to be more sensitive. Most clients find it very manageable, especially in a calm private setting.
Can I bring my own design? +
Absolutely. We welcome inspiration images, sketches, or detailed descriptions. All designs are redrawn and adapted to suit your placement and skin, so even if your inspiration isn't quite right for fine line tattooing, we'll work with you to create something that is.
Will my fine line tattoo fade? +
Fine line tattoos are more delicate than traditional tattoos and can soften over time, particularly with sun exposure. With good aftercare and occasional touch ups, they last very well. We offer a complimentary touch up within 12 weeks of your appointment.
Do you do colour tattoos? +
We specialise in black fine line work. Please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements and we'll let you know what's possible.

Preparing for your Appointment

How should I prepare? +
Please arrive well rested, hydrated, and having eaten a full meal beforehand. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment. Wear comfortable, loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.
What is the minimum age? +
You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo. Valid photo ID may be requested on the day.
I have a medical condition — can I still get tattooed? +
Please disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications when you enquire. Certain conditions or medications (such as blood thinners) may affect your suitability for tattooing. We'll always discuss this with you sensitively and in confidence.
